When you visit
Our server, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, receives the technical data your browser sends with every request (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) and uses it only to deliver the page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working website. We keep no access log of visits, and we do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
When you write to us
We receive your address and what you write, and use them to answer and to follow up the conversation you started. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps you ask us to take before a contract. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace. We keep the exchange for as long as the conversation, or the business relationship that follows, requires.
Transfers
Visit data stays in the European Union. Email is the exception: Google may process it outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the standard contractual clauses in its data processing terms, as UK and EU law require.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to office@syntexia.ai; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or to the data protection authority of your country in the EU, such as the CNPD in Portugal.
